Lives and studies in Tornio, Finland
In her art, Lumi seeks to connect the mundane and the magical through visual storytelling. Her works are heavily inspired by Finno-Ugric mythology and folklore, and influenced by Japanese art and philosophy.
She experiences that we are not alone in this world, but rather share it with a multitude of Otherworldly beings ranging from great deities to small spirits, who are known as väki.
